How to change a fuse in the BMW i8

Updated: Oct 5, 2020

In order to replace fuses in the BMW i8, we need to access the fuse compartment and then identify which fuse protects which circuit. The fuse block contains a piece of paper with diagrams of those fuses. Below, you will find the fuse diagrams, an instructional video, and a parts list. Additional information about the fuses, or any part of the i8, can be found in newtis.info, specifically: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/i12-i8-cou/components-connectors/components/components-with-f/

Also, you will need to make sure you have a Torx T-20 tool and extra fuses available in case a fuse blows when you're away from home. The i8 contains mini and standard automotive fuses, so you'll want to keep a supply of both types on board. #ad As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
